WhatsApp API is the perfect platform for reaching out, contacting, and communicating with prospective customers using HubSpot

WhatsApp API is the perfect platform for reaching out, contacting, and communicating with prospective customers as well as for servicing customers. It also enables businesses to create an entire ecosystem of applications and products such as Chatbots, CRMs, and so on, that businesses can use to promote their products and services.
This is where HubSpot comes into the picture. Hubspot is a popular CRM platform that has all the tools and integrations you need for marketing, sales, content management, operations, and customer service.

‍
Here are a few things you can do, with HubSpot when it works alongside WhatsApp

1. Contact Information Inside Team Inbox

When a contact reaches out to your business through a message, the contact information stored in HubSpot is displayed in the WhatsApp Inbox itself. This saves the time and effort that it would otherwise take to go out of Inbox to access the phone number of the contact who has sent you the message. All the properties associated with the contact, such as phone number, address, email, city, job title, etc are available in the Inbox view itself.

2. Keep Track of All Customer Interactions

Just as full contact information is available in the Inbox against every interaction, likewise, HubSpot offers a Contacts Activity section. In this section, all the messages happening on WhatsApp get logged against the contact. This includes a complete log of Incoming as well as outgoing messages. Thus, for all the Contacts we get an overview of the message interactions and a line of sight of what action or follow-up is needed. One doesn’t need to switch from the Contacts view to the Inbox view for this. This saves time as well as effort, as well as makes the experience seamless and smooth, and integrated.

3. Automation

HubSpot allows you to automate interaction workflow. It allows you to define certain Trigger actions from customers. It allows you to initiate automated replies in response to these triggers. Some examples of triggers include: when the customer makes a payment, you can automate a reply that would say “Thank you. We have received your payment”.  Or, if someone fills a form on your website, the automated reply could be “Thank you for filling in the form. Our agent will contact you shortly”. Such automated messages save time and effort on the part of agents.  The response is not limited to messages, but also to sending documents or other such tasks.

4. Initiate Conversations From Contacts View

We mentioned earlier that for all the contacts we get an overview of the message interactions and a line of sight of what action or follow-up is needed. One doesn’t need to switch from the Contacts view to the Inbox view for this. Hubspot also provides a button clicking upon which one can initiate a conversation directly with the Contact Inside WhatsApp Inbox. WhatsApp Inbox opens as pop up inside Hubspot itself. This too saves the time and effort that would otherwise be needed to switch views, to complete different tasks.
